About the author
Liz Latty is an Oakland-based writer, educator, musician, activist, and performer, originally from the Detroit area. Queer, feminist, unruly – you can find her work in The F-Word Zine, The Wayne Literary Review, and Radical Detroit: A Journal of Political and Cultural Resistance. She was also featured in the Seal Press anthology, We Don’t Need Another Wave: Dispatches from the Next Generation of Feminists. She has starred in numerous queer short films and teaches creative writing to youth. She works full time as an After School Program Director at a middle school in Oakland. She loves number 2 pencils and hates pigeons. This is what she looks like. (She doesn’t have any pants on in this picture.)
